How a transfer to Roissy works

You book at least one hour before your desired pick-up time. The price is calculated from your exact pick-up address and the arrival terminal, then confirmed before you accept: that is the amount you pay, with no meter and no surprises.

Your driver arrives at the address given and helps load your luggage. The route uses the A1 or A3 motorway depending on where you start and how traffic is running. Allow 45 to 60 minutes from central Paris, longer during the morning and late-afternoon peaks.

On arrival you are set down at the departures level of the terminal you specified. Roissy has three terminals and nine halls, so giving the right number when booking saves you a ten-minute shuttle ride between buildings with your cases.

Private driver, taxi or RER B for CDG?

The RER B remains the cheapest option at around €12 per person. It works well if you travel light and your timing is flexible. With two suitcases, however, changing at Châtelet during rush hour quickly becomes unpleasant, and service disruptions are not rare.

Paris taxis charge a regulated flat fare to CDG: about €56 from the Right Bank and €65 from the Left Bank. The price is therefore close to ours, but you still have to find a free taxi at the right moment, which is far from guaranteed at five in the morning.

Our €2 per kilometre rate puts the journey at around €60 from central Paris, known in advance and booked for the time that suits you. The value shows from two passengers up: with three people, a private car costs less than three RER tickets, and the luggage travels in the boot.
